Can saltwater fishing lures work for freshwater fishing?

Hi, I just bought “Gulp, New Penny” shrimp? No bait thinking that be? To good for freshwater fishing. I do not sab? To, but are used for salt water. They be? N able to work when I go freshwater fishing?

Has anyone used any of the lighted fishing lures or any lures with fiber optic eyes? Do these really work?

The fish in the Upper Mississippi, and I’m curious to know if anyone else has tried these lures lit. Some are called to LEDs and other electronics brands are called. Some have replaceable batteries and others not. These baits are more expensive than “regular reminders of fishing, but if you really attract fish to bite, it would be worthwhile. Thanks for any info.
